CAIR Town Hall

We are excited to share wonderful news with our community! Please join us in welcoming Imran Ghani as the new Director of Operations for CAIR-Texas, Houston.

Imran is a proud Houston native and a first-generation Muslim American. With both corporate experience and a deep commitment to community service and Islamic scholarship, Imran is ready to help guide CAIR-Houston forward. He holds a degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Houston, a degree in Islamic Law & Theology from Zaytuna College, and a Master’s in Religion & History from the Graduate Theological Union.

His professional background spans Hewlett-Packard, Recology, and Whole Foods Market—where he most recently managed the company’s national baby products line. Additionally, he has held leadership roles with UHMSA, Amaanah Refugee Services, and The Citizens Foundation. Beyond his professional work, Imran is also an educator, khateeb, researcher, avid gardener, tennis enthusiast, and writer who has dedicated years to serving the Houston community.

As he steps into this role, Imran has made it clear that his priority is listening to you—our community. Over the coming months, he will be hosting gatherings and events to hear directly from you about the issues, hopes, and challenges most important to you.

📍 To begin this effort, we invite you to a special community town hall at Masjid El Farouq
